I have my own computer and my sister is always asking to go on it we dont have a family computer
just mine and my moms
my mom brings hers to work
and im on mine when Im at home (on LW, Facebook, Msn, Games)
my sister usually just watches movies and finds things to entertain herself
but today she wont leave me alone she keeps telling me that its not fair that i have my own computer
i payed for half of it
the other half was for my birthday i dont want to let her on my computer [rant/whatshouldido?]

I don't understand why you can't just let her borrow the thing for a few hours or so. Is whatever you're doing so important that you can't let the kid have an hour or so on it? I mean, really.

Its your computer. If you dont have a problem with her using it, set ground rules (she can use it when you ARENT on it, when you do want on it, you get it, and she cant download things). I had to do the same thing with my sister, because she kept installing The Sims and things on my computer. I didnt drop $1200 on a computer to play "The Sims" on. Eventually she managed to get a virus on it, and I just locked her out for a while. We have a family computer, so it was a little bit of a different situation, but I think the same thing applies. If you REALLY dont want her to use it, encrypt your disks, or at least put a password on bootup.
